The Corte di Assise di Appello in Perugia, Italy led by Presiding Judge Claudio Pratillo Hellmann, has now released its “motivation document” in the case against Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito. The 144-page report explains why Hellmann, together with assistant judge Massimo Zanetti and six “popular judges” (ordinary jurors), decided to acquit Knox and Sollecito of the murder of Meredith Kercher.
The translation is now complete!

Thanks for the good work.
From what is translated so far it looks like they saw what every logical thinking person in the world saw. That there was nothing to connect them to the crime except for a bunch of shoddy work and claims that could not actually be backed up. But the guilters are still out there, still claiming that the jury just did this for political reasons. Strange that they are so blind with hatred that they cannot see just how wrong they are.
The calumnia charge still leaves a bitter taste since I still consider even that to be an injustice. I have read that section 2 or 3 times now and I still can’t get my head around it. Although the charge itself is like a parasite within the host of the main iniquitous murder charge scenario it still has some sort of credibility though I know not why. Is it unreasonable to think that if the host dies the parasite that is the calumnia dies with it?
I think that if the parasite dies the host that is the murder charge dies with it. People say ” she slandered an innocent man, therefore she is a cruel woman, and therefore she is capable of murder ” .
The calumnia charge is evidently unjust and I don’t understand why Hellmann upheld it.
Yes the calumnia charge has absolutely zero legal foundation at this point. Except another attempt to save face , and frankly prevent massive ligation expenses IMO
Correct, the calumnia charge has zero legal foundation, Amanda’s interrogation was triplicately illegal: (1) they lied to her, saying she was a witness, while she was a suspect; (2) they denied her a lawyer (3) where is the interrogation record ?
Let’s hope in the European Court of Human Rights.

Amnanda Knox seems out to be the Mignini’s witch incarnate. There must be someway she can stop the craziness before it goes to the court of cessation in Rome
….I wonder if the same tatics that Mignini uses which is make it lawsuit time and start suing the hell out of the scandal gutter press in Italy
and Britian I under standstand there is a body of people that let Mignini practise law she should also sue them along with Italy itself Reverse the tactics he has used on her like a good chess player that she is going to have to be. Don’t take this injustice laying down sue the hell out of the lot.
Italy won’t want this and have him replaced and kicked out of office…….

My suggestion: why doesn’t Amanda Knox take two lie detector tests? One by the Americans supervised by the Italians and the other one by the Italians and supervised by the Americans? If I was innocent and wanted to conclude this case, I would be glad to take the tests.
