As observed in the introductory remarks [relazione introduttiva], the only thing that is objectively certain, unquestionable and unquestioned (in the sense that everything [else] is subject to question, the appellants having criticized essentially every part of the [previous] ruling) is the need to reexamine all the circumstantial evidence on which the first-level Court based its guilty verdict, in light of what came out at the first-level trial and [our own] further investigations at this level.
